Toploader sizes
The point-gauge system decoded first, then every toploader and rigid holder we track, sorted thin to thick.
A holder's point rating describes the card thickness it accepts. One point is one thousandth of an inch, or 0.0254 mm. It is not a measurement of the holder's plastic walls.
| Card-thickness rating | Millimeters |
|---|---|
| 35 pt | 0.889 mm |
| 55 pt | 1.397 mm |
| 59 pt | 1.499 mm |
| 75 pt | 1.905 mm |
| 79 pt | 2.007 mm |
| 100 pt | 2.540 mm |
| 108 pt | 2.743 mm |
| 130 pt | 3.302 mm |
| 138 pt | 3.505 mm |
| 180 pt | 4.572 mm |
These are unit conversions, not fit tests. Different ratings are different thicknesses; 55 and 59 points are not interchangeable measurements. Confirm the usable width and height as well as the card thickness, including a sleeve if you use one.
Ultra PRO's regular 3×4 holder is rated for cards up to 35 points. Other rigid holders, magnetic cases and semi-rigid products can have different dimensions. Do not assume a shared outside footprint establishes the inside fit.
Use the fit checker for supported card-and-sleeve configurations, or read do toploaders fit in binders? before choosing storage for a holder.
